Time for some scans

Hey guys. So I have scans scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 9th to determine what progress has been made with the chemo therapy. I will be having a CT Scan and a Bone scan. For those of you that have had a CT Scan before, you know all about the TWO BOTTLES of nasty juice you have to drink before the test. And then during the test you get injected with some kind of spicy juice that burns a little but it helps for the pictures to show up. Apparently I will also be getting some type of injection for the Bone scan as well. We will see how it goes. I am praying for a good word!!

Continuous prayers coming your way! I will join you and agree that you will have a good report. God is bigger than any doctor and any disease. I thank Him in advance for what He is doing in you.

We're all praying for a good word. In fact the good word is already spoken. By his wounds we are healed. -Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Spicy juice injections and nasty juice...You certainly aren't going through anything easy! Check out this website: http://www.standup2cancer.org/. Robert Jones bought you a t-shirt to let you know that he's thinking about you and your journey standing up to cancer.

Love you GI Jane!

Hi Gail, I'm Nikki; you should remember me. We met through Jay; I recently married his friend Joe (they were neighbors in OH). You and Aesha came to MI and all of us went skiing together...yeah you remember! :) Jay has been keeping me in touch with you and he finally sent me your blog so I can keep up with you for myself :) I have definitely been praying for you. In church we sang a song 'Be Blessed' by Paul Morton. I absolutely love this song. It has so much conviction and power in it. Please listen to it; I hope it does for you what it does for me when I listen to it. If you don't have the song...Jay does! :) I am truly glad to hear you are in good spirits. Continue to be strong...Be Blessed my sister! :)

Hi Gail,

This is Neressa. You know it took me some time to re-write this message because I didn't sign in the first time I wrote it...way to go, Class of 1997. I'm a genius! Anyway darling, I just want to let you know that you are a true warrior. I know that your report will be great tomorrow, October 9, 2008. My grandmother recently finished her chemotherapy treatments for breast cancer. She is now in remission, and I "speak it" through God's healing that her follow up appt. will show that she is still in remission. Both of you have truly inspired me to never give up. I love you girl and look forward to hearing your good news real soon.

Me again, Darling!

You are constantly and consistently in my prayers. As Vex said, the good word is spoken. I can't wait to hear the good word from you. Celebration is very near. God bless and stay encouraged. I've just met you and already, you are one of the strongest that I know!!!
Grace and peace
